Usually armed with just a knife and the element of surprise, Michael Myers was a brutally efficient killer despite his lack of training and mortal aspects. He's not even truly comparable to a supernaturally enhanced force like Jason, or the monstrous Leatherface, who was raised to be the destructive force that he is. He's not like Freddy Krueger or Chucky, with mystical origins and abilities. He was just a regular child when he murdered his sister, and his rampage across the course of the original Halloween - as well as the 2018 direct sequel of the same name and 2021's Halloween Kills - were all largely carried out by mundane means. Nominally, Michael Myers is nothing more than a human. In Halloween Kills, Michael Myers is revealed to no longer just be a man, confirming that the horror icon has an element of the supernatural to him. ![]() But it turns out he isn't truly human - or at least, not anymore. The infamous slasher character has proven incredibly resilient over the years, despite his status as an apparent human force.
